Strome Cottage

Strome Cottage is situated on a small tidal inlet off the South Harbour of the island, and on a clear day, the views from the hillock above the house are magnificent – over the Minch to Skye and the Cuillin Mountains and right down the Outer Isles from the Harris Hills to North and South Uist.

Built of stone, partly roughcast with a slate roof. It can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Although children are welcome, the cottage might be considered unsuitable for toddlers or babies, as there is no washing machine, nor cots or high chairs.
